SOLE is a 1:1-built plywood prototype of a modern rocking chair. Aim was to design furniture for a small student apartment's needs. SOLE has a storage space under the seat for books, pillows or blankets. The seat is sewn from a strong outdoor textile, which is removable, replaceable and washable.
Two options: The textile part on the front of the chair can be tight in two ways. The first option gives a more "air" feeling to the furniture and the second option creates a small storage space for magazines or books (the last picture).
